Step into the tactile world of relief printmaking with Nick Johnson of Missing Link Artistry! In this hands-on class, you'll design and carve your own printing block using traditional tools and techniques.
We'll cover image planning (including working in reverse), safe tool handling, mark-making, and how to create contrast, texture, and depth through carving.
By the end of the class you'll have an MDF block that's ready to print and the knowledge you’ll need to start carving blocks on your own.
