In this class you’ll learn the foundational skills needed to start designing and making your own books. We'll cover some of the basic tools and supplies used for creating books and a few simple binding techniques (accordion fold and saddle stitch).
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with two complete books, and a knowledge base you can build on for learning more advanced types of bindings.

Missa has taught book design techniques to a wide range of people, from casual art clubs to college classes. She’s designed and created books and zines for herself and others, and publishes under the imprint First and Last Draft Press.
